I joined the Marines in 1996 after going back to high school. I spent four years as a cook\baker in 3rd Battalion, 1st Mar-div in Camp Pendelton, CA. I shattered my left ankle in 29 Palms, CA in a training accident. After I was discharged I spent time soul searching and found my now wife and founded a family. I now live in Paradise, CA and I am a full-time student at Butte College and working toward a BA in Social Work. My goal is to be the Butte County Veterans Service Officer and help returning Vets adjust back to civilian life. I joined VMW in 2008 and founded the forming chapter in Butte County. |
